Three steps to a Telegram bot
Telegram is the easiest channel to add. The whole setup takes under 2 minutes.
Step 1 — Create a Telegram bot
Open Telegram and search for @BotFather. Start a chat and send /newbot.
BotFather will ask you for:
- A name (what humans see, e.g. "Acme Support")
- A username (must end in "bot", e.g. "AcmeSupportBot")
BotFather gives you a token. It looks like 1234567890:ABCdefGHIjklMNOpqrSTUvwxYZ. Copy it.
Step 2 — Add the token to digiBotics
Go to Bot settings → Integrations → Telegram. Click "Connect Telegram", paste the token, click Save.
Step 3 — Test it
Search for your bot on Telegram (by the username you chose), send it a message, get a reply.
Plan requirement
Telegram is included with the Business plan and above. Starter plan customers can upgrade any time from Billing.
Multiple Telegram bots
Each digiBotics account connects to one Telegram bot. If you need multiple bots (e.g. one for sales, one for support), create separate digiBotics accounts.
